A picture is worth a thousand words, so the saying goes. So following on from my previous article of the ferment control system at Madocke Brewing, I have created a diagram describing the system graphically.

The ferment info sent to the control system is displayed on the local slave device LCD's. The target temps are calculated by comparing the gravity-based ferment schedule created by Jimmy against the the automatic gravity readings submitted by the Tilt hydrometer devices every 60 minutes.
Each slave device can control the cooling circuit pump and local automated ball valve for its fermentor.
